Trout Tails - June 25, 2019

The last I looked, Pennsylvania has had measurable precipitation 48% of the year.  In other words, it has rained just about every other day.  This has been kind of a blessing and a curse all at the same time.  It has allowed us to float a lot longer than normal, but has also blown out water a good bit.  Despite the rain, it has been a busy month or two and I have not had much time to sit down and process many photos until now.  Between float trips, we (Doc Fritchey TU) had our annual veteran's fishing day and women's fishing day.  Last weekend we were on Yellow Creek in Indiana Pa fishing for pellet heads with Cicadas because my wife had won a trip at our annual TU banquet, just about every other stream in the state was chocolate milk, and.....Cicadas!

Adi is so intent, actually watches your fly and stares at a fish when it rises....not to mention tries to help you release them once you hook them.
