Brad and I hit the Erie tribs for a few days, then came back up for the Thanksgiving week with Heidi. The water has been extremely low and clear this year. Thankfully we had some rain for both trips that brought in some fresh active fish, but leaves are still flushing out of the creeks and they dropped pretty quick. It has just been a low water year all around. Hopefully this next front of rain and snow helps bring the tribs back up and keeps them up for a bit.
On Thanksgiving day, Heidi and I put a turkey breast in crockpot in the morning before we left to fish. Came home 8 hours later to a non-functioning crock pot and raw turkey breast! While it definitely was not the same, we managed to find a frozen turkey breast to salvage the Thanksgiving....and a few fish.
